Running doesn’t have to be boring – run with a friend or spouse.My favorite jogging is when it is sunny outside.I like working out in a fitness club – the busyness of it all inspires me.Yes, treadmills offer television – but it is still not as nice as the great outdoors.We both started jogging about 2 years ago.I couldn’t believe that I started packing on the pounds when I hit thirty.I was in terrible shape 3 years ago; now I can run 10 miles on any treadmill in Edmonton.What a joke it is now that I have to actually watch what I eat.One of the best ways to workout consistently is to put them in your planner.You have to have heard by now that exercising is good for you.For years I lifted weights and ignored cardio; now I do lots of running.Walking is a fabulous way to start a jogging program.After walking for a few months I added jogging stints.I took to jogging like the proverbial fish to water.Boy, 15 minutes was my limit for jogging at the start.I’m to the point I am thinking about training for a marathon – and wouldn’t balk at getting a treadmill in Toronto to make it happen.There is nothing like reading a jogging success of colleagues.Do you run in sand for super-powered training?  I do it on occasion.The worst jogging is on busy roads like highways.I haven’t gotten into hardcore trail running.If you have to drive to a trail and you want an incline run, get a treadmill. It’s magazines like Outside that grow cool sports like trail jogging – a far cry from using a treadmill in Calgary.What’s the longest you’ve ever run straight?  I’ve ran 90 minutes a few times.Cycling is a great complement to running.At this time in my life I am game to complement jogging with lots of sports.I know there are all kinds of cycling vacations I could sign up for.
