A skin disease known as allergic dermatitis is usually acquired when the skin is exposed and comes into contact with particular allergens. It is considered to be a stubborn and disturbing skin condition. It affects a number of people from all over the globe, including their ability and productivity at work. Contact dermatitis treatment can be found everywhere and are readily available but their effectiveness is of no use until the causes for such condition are known and removed completely. There are a lot of allergens and irritants found everywhere and some are discussed below.

Epoxy resin, acrylics, nickel and ivy plants are on the list of allergens, and people who cannot avoid exposing themselves to such allergens are at risk of suffering from facial eczema, eczema on the eyes, and the like. These certain allergens are common in the workplace. A forestry worker cannot avoid working with plants like ivy plants surrounding him, and an electrician on the other hand works with epoxy resin and cables so they are placed at greater risk for contact dermatitis.

Another allergen is nickel. Nickel is found in jewelry shops, ceramic stores, and many more places so people working everyday in such places deem it impossible to come in contact with it. Medical surgeons and painters can also acquire contact dermatitis since handling acrylics at work is unavoidable. Constant exposure to these allergens can really make workers susceptible to experiencing contact dermatitis.

Allergens are also present at home. Soaps and detergents for household cleaning can trigger eczema flare-ups. These cleaning agents often contain chemicals that are harmful for the skin thus, possible breakouts may occur. If it is proven that these things are responsible for your awful skin condition, then consider other alternatives. It is wise to use soaps and detergents that are mild on your skin instead.
